What is the difference between google adwords and google adsense?
September 2, 2017 at 2:09 PM #9721dilipvrule2017Participant
Adsense is a program for bloggers to earn money from google ads. You just need to enroll for adsense and then you get an option to showcase ads on your website. As people click on the ads, money gets credited to your adsense account. Which you can take back to your bank account.
On the other hands adwords is a program to advertise on google publisher sites. Here you pay to showcase your ads to masses.
So by adwords you show your ads on the websites who have enrolled for adsense.

Google AdWords is Google’s advertising system in which advertisers bid on certain keywords in order for their clickable ads to appear in Google’s search results. Since advertisers have to pay for these clicks, this is how Google makes money from search.
Google AdSense is a program run by Google that allows publishers in the Google Network of content sites to serve automatic text, image, video, or interactive media advertisements, that are targeted to site content and audience.

The basic difference between these two is that Google Ads is used by Advertisers While AdSense is used by publishers. … In Google Ads, Advertisers pay Google a certain amount per ad click. However, in another case, AdSense lets publishers monetize their websites or blogs by earning money from relevant AdWords ads displayed next to their content.

1. AdSense Is for Website Publishers, AdWords Is for Businesses
The fundamental difference between AdWords and AdSense is who they’re designed for. AdWords is for advertisers and AdSense is for publishers, or website owners.
AdWords enables businesses and marketers to advertise on Google’s network (search, display, etc).
AdSense enables publishers to reserve space for AdWords placements on their website (text, video, images).
Both AdWords and AdSense work together to complete Google’s greater advertising network: website owners put up space for Google’s ads (AdSense) and businesses set budgets and ads to display on Google’s advertising network (AdWords).
2. AdSense Pays Website Owners, Businesses Pay AdWords
The second big difference between the that AdWords is used to buy advertising from Google, where AdSense is to sell advertising space to Google.
With AdWords, businesses are paying Google to place their ads on Google’s search and display network.
With AdSense, website owners are getting paid by Google to offer up precious website real estate for AdWords placements.
Businesses that use AdWords will pay Google a sum based on their campaign budget. AdSense allows publishers to monetize their websites by displaying relevant Google AdWords ads. Publishers get paid when visitors click on the ads.

AdSense Is for Website Publishers, AdWords Is for Businesses
The principal distinction among AdWords and AdSense is who they’re intended for. AdWords is for promoters and AdSense is for distributers or site proprietors.
AdWords empowers organizations and advertisers to publicize on Google’s system (search, show, and so on).
AdSense empowers distributors to save space for AdWords arrangements on their site (content, video, pictures).
Both AdWords and AdSense cooperate to finish Google’s more noteworthy publicizing system: site proprietors set up space for Google’s promotions (AdSense) and organizations set spending plans and advertisements to show on Google’s promoting system (AdWords)

With Google AdWords, businesses and advertisers need to pay money to get their ads displayed. Whereas in the case of AdSense, publishers get paid to allow advertisers to place ads on their website. So, you get money through the AdSense platform, and you spend money on AdWords.

Google Adwords (now, it’s called Google Ads) operates by advertisers bidding on specific keywords so that their ads appear in Google’s search results when someone searches for that term or expression. In addition to the traffic, clicks, and conversions, Google Ads is a great way to spread the word about your business.
Google AdSense is one of the best ad networks to monetize a website or a blog. It outperforms all other CPC advertisement systems by 90%. It provides the highest CTR for each web page to the publishers. The publishers could make lots of revenue daily from Google Adsense.

The main difference between Google Adwords and Google Adsense is that Adword is designed for advertisers, which allows you to bid on certain keywords in order for their clickable google ads to appear in Google search results.
