When I traveled last spring, I had such a mess with currency exchange fees on my traditional bank card. I ended up paying more in fees than I expected just because I didn’t plan ahead. Now I’m curious about using a bitcoin debit card with cashback when abroad. It sounds like I could avoid some of those extra charges, and at the same time, I’d be getting a bit of my spending back. But I haven’t tried it yet, and I don’t want to risk getting stuck without a working payment option in another country. Has anyone here taken one of these cards on a trip?
