Hello everyone,
I came across a company that provides managed IT services as a kind of “outsourced IT department” for businesses that either don’t have or don’t want a full in-house team. About Pegasus Technologies, their page explains how they not only solve technical issues but also proactively plan, monitor, and strategize over time.
My question: How realistic or effective is that model in practice? Has anyone worked with such firms, and does having a third-party “IT team” truly reduce downtime, security risks, and cost?
What are the trade-offs (loss of control, response time, vendor lock-in)?
