CTRs vary based on industry, communication and objectives. So, if we are going for a product like apparal/fashion/cosmetics and going with aweinspiring offer, we might get a very high CTR, whereas if you are talking about a B2B product, you might get a little lower CTR.

Facebook advertising gives an objective based advertising for mobile app downloads. By doing so, you can target specific mobile users (android, windows or iOS).
All you need is to configure Facebook SDK (Software development kit) with your app. With Facebook SDK installation, you will get all the information about your app like app downloads, app engagement, loyalty, in-app purchases, daily active users etc.

Facebook gives an option to target new home owners in US currently. They have tied up with some syndicate agency (third party data) to get information of household status, annual income etc. However such targeting is NOT possible in other countries yet.

Adsense is a program for bloggers to earn money from google ads. You just need to enroll for adsense and then you get an option to showcase ads on your website. As people click on the ads, money gets credited to your adsense account. Which you can take back to your bank account.
On the other hands adwords is a program to advertise on google publisher sites. Here you pay to showcase your ads to masses.
So by adwords you show your ads on the websites who have enrolled for adsense.

There are many ways to identify the influencers. A few quick ways are looking at the KLOUT score. Klout is a mechanism which generates a score based on fans/followers and engagement levels on different social channels.
Apart from the followers base, you can also go deeper into it and look at the followers’ nature, how many quality followers do they have etc.
There are other factors which can be taken into account such as the traffic on blog, subscribers and niche topics relevant to your desired interest.

in reply to: effective method of bidding cpm or cpc #9718

CPM and CPC both methods have its own merits and demerits. CPM bids are kinda cheaper than CPC bids. Hence when you are sure that your CTR’s will be very high, then it makes sense to go for CPM based bidding. Mostly the offers kinda campaigns are done using google display with CPM bidding.
For Example: Uber’s/OLA’s first free ride campaigns.
At other end when your objective is to get actions then it makes sense to go for a CPC based bidding strategy. So that you pay for clicks and clicks come when there is an intent.
